Music Ministry
The Music Ministry at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church under the direction of Fred Eschenfelder is more than just a couple of “choirs”. One can serve the church by being involved in one of our music ministries.
Blessed Sacrament Youth & Children’s Choir
Our Blessed Sacrament Youth & Children’s Choir consists of students in the parish from 3rd grade up to 7th grade. This choir meets on Wednesday from 6pm to 6:45pm in the Church and sings at the various weekend Masses throughout the year. The children sing the Christmas Vigil Mass at 4:30pm.
Contemporary Choir and Band
Sunday at 11:00am in the church you may offer your gifts to the Contemporary Choir and Band as we practice just before the 11:30am Mass. We welcome anyone who can play an instrument or sing to offer their talents for the greater glory of God.
Blessed Sacrament Church Choir
The Blessed Sacrament Church Choir consists of adults of all ages and teens, who meet every Wednesday from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the Church to practice the many challenging choral pieces that lead us in prayer at the 10:00am Mass every Sunday. The choir season goes from September to Pentecost and its highlights are during the Christmas and Easter Seasons. We sing for many concerts throughout the year including the St. Jerome Choir Festival in February.
You can lend your talents, too, as a Cantor or Song Leader. Usually our Cantors and Song Leaders are prepared during the week to lead the music at one of our many scheduled Masses.
To volunteer, or for more information, contact our Music Director & Organist, Fred Eschenfelder.
Choir season is from September to June and meets most Wednesdays at 7pm in the Church. We are in need of instrumentalists and singers this year. Hope to see you there!
