RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, or RCIA, is the process by which those seeking the Catholic faith are instructed in scripture, dogma, and tradition of our faith. It is through this process that individuals receive the initiation sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
At Blessed Sacrament, the RCIA program is all that and much more. It is the goal of the team to provide those seeking our faith a safe, non-judgmental environment to fully discuss their questions or issues with the Church, while providing them the knowledge to begin their spiritual journey. Once their spiritual journey begins, they continue to provide information and support that hopefully leads these individuals to a lifetime of growth in Holiness.
RCIA is open to all those seeking the Faith. In the past they have had whole families, couples, and individuals enrolled in RCIA. Individuals that are married to Catholics, who have been going to Mass for years, and who have just decided to join the Church in full communion. All are welcome.
Class takes place at 7pm each Thursday in the Youth Conference room. There is no cost or obligation to join. So if you know of anyone, family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, or maybe the guy next to you in Church, that may benefit from RCIA, please invite them.
There is no need for pre-registration, but if there are additional questions please contact Brent Sowards.
