We are so blessed to have a tabernacle in our Catholic churches that house the Body of Christ. He is so available to us, morning, noon and night. He never has a day off. We would not have His 24/7 Presence without Mother Mary saying “Yes” and becoming His first tabernacle.
To make this a reality for us, God had to anticipate her “Yes” to Angel Gabriel to become the Mother of God. He knew she would say “Yes” before she was born like he knows we can say Yes to Him all the time. So, He conceived her without sin to be a stainless vessel for the Word made flesh, God’s Divine Son.
She is full of grace because she found favor with God. In the first reading when Eve sinned, she made excuses and blamed the devil who tempted her. Mary had no excuses and never lost her dignity in God’s sight.
St. Paul explained in Ephesians and calls us to be like Mother Mary, as he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and without blemish before him. My good friends, in every circumstance, we have the same grace offered to Mary. With our “Yes” He can bring Jesus to us and accomplish only what God can do.
I am finding that “Yes” involves a perfect trust and leaves everything to God.
Gospel Challenge:
We ask our Mother to intercede for us so we can always please Him. Pray with me, Hail Mary, full of grace.
