She Was Born To Give Us Jesus

The celebration honoring the birth of our beloved Mother Mary is one of the oldest feasts dedicated to Mary, dating back to the 2nd century. A hymn dedicated to her is called “Mary, the Dawn,” which beautifully describes her relationship with her Son, Jesus: “Mary for Dawn, Christ the Perfect Day.”

The radiant Light that appeared in Mother Mary reached its peak in Jesus. From her very conception, Mother Mary was immersed in that fullness of grace. She was born to bring us Jesus, the hope of our salvation. Her influence spans centuries, and she continues to guide and protect all her children, including us.

With Mother Mary’s intercession, may we strive to live in the fullness of her Son, Jesus. This means embracing His teachings, following His example of love and compassion, and allowing His presence to guide our thoughts and actions. May our love for Jesus be so profound that it overflows into the hearts and minds of everyone we meet, spreading His light and love throughout the world.

Gospel Challenge:

With pure intentions, let us pray together, invoking the intercession of our Mother Mary,  “Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come; before you, I stand sinful and sorrowful. Oh, Mother of the Word Incarnate! Despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.”

Love Your Neighbor!

 Peace everyone.
