Did You Share Your Story with Someone Today?

Sometimes, you walk into a room and say, “What did I come in here to do?” We got distracted by other thoughts. Anyone who has suffered from a parent or loved one who has Alzheimer’s knows that it is not a small matter at all. It is heartbreaking when someone you love forgets your name or how to do simple tasks.

Forgetting the good things God has done for us has traumatic consequences for individuals and families. Moses tells his people to “Take care and be earnestly on your guard not to forget the things which your own eyes have seen, nor let them slip away from your memory.”

Can you imagine being around a disciple’s table sharing his story of Jesus after Jesus ascended into heaven? That is what we do at Mass every day and on the weekends. We tell His story and reflect on how it affects us.

Moses seriously warned us to share our faith with our young people. Jesus’ story is not in books or documents and commandments. It’s in all the moments we live our day.

Gospel Challenge:

Why not share a God story with your family at the dining table? The power of these stories can transform relationships, bringing us closer and strengthening our faith in each other and God’s love.

April 8 at 6 p.m. Confessions will be heard

every evening during Lent, starting on April

8, from 6-7 p.m., Monday through Friday,

until Tuesday., April 15.

NO CONFESSIONS WILL BE HEARD AFTER

APRIL 15. Please take advantage of this opportunity.

We will continue to have Confessions on Saturdays

from 3-4 p.m., except on Holy Saturday.
