Fish are amusing. If I were a fish and saw a juicy worm or small fish, I’d eat it. But they bite only when hungry, mostly at dawn and dusk. So if you don’t get a bite, keep trying.
The landowner in the gospel kept seeking laborers for his vineyard all day, showing how God never gives up on anyone. Through us, He continues inviting people to work in His Church.
People have many needs. God wants to meet them through us, His laborers, by caring for the sick, teaching, cooking for the hungry, and ministering to youth and the elderly. The good we can do is limitless. How can needs be met without active parish involvement?
I urge everyone in ministry to share why you serve and how working in the Lord’s vineyard fulfills you. Reflect on the joy and good memories it brings. Consider joining the vineyard with the Lord morning, noon, and evening, and you’ll be surprised by positive responses. Gospel Challenge: Sharing our wealth, time, and energy is natural because we are made in God’s image. Inviting others to join the Lord’s work shows His love, shining His light and making everyone feel welcome.
