Children’s Liturgy of the Word will take place August 7, 14 and 21. Future dates will be listed on the website and in the bulleting.
This is a special Sunday morning opportunity for children in Grades Pre K through 3rd to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word during the Sunday, 10 a.m. Mass. All children are welcome to participate and are invited forward for a blessing prior to the First Reading. They are led into the Chapel with a catechist who will share the Gospel story of the day. The children return to the larger assembly before the presentation of the gifts.
The primary purpose of dismissing the children is to provide them with a focused environment where they will explore God’s Word by listening, responding and interacting. The children will engage in a prayerful way of connecting with God through the Scripture of the day.
Any adults interested in being a catechist are welcome to join Mr. E during this time.
