Drafts play a significant role in sports. Colleges recruit high school students who excel in talent and ability. Coaches and managers consider a student’s passion and work ethic when selecting a number one starter; pro sports draft players use the same criteria. Companies hire graduates who are the brightest and most outstanding achievers.

Jesus sent out these ordinary men to begin the building His Kingdom. It was an unlikely draft, but it has worked and continues to works 2000 years later.
